What determines the price of a tour
- Duration: from short 20-minute circuits to multi-hour tours.
- Format: guided convoy tour or self-drive rental.
- Solo or shared jet ski: some tours charge per person, others per group of up to 2 on the same jet ski.
- Area and operator: each operator sets their own price; not everyone charges the same for a similar tour.

We checked the live listing of jet ski tours in Tenerife on GetYourGuide. Prices range from €29 (short 20-minute circuit) to €145 (1-hour tour for a group of up to 2 on the same jet ski) — both ends are real tours we've verified by hand, not an estimate. Among the guided tours of 40 minutes to 1 hour that we have verified, three fall between €32 and €47 per person (San Miguel, Costa Adeje and Puerto Colón) and the Los Gigantes one goes up to €70.

Do you pay more to go without a guide?
Self-drive rental (without a guide) isn't always cheaper: because it requires a boating licence, fewer operators offer it, and the price can be similar to or even higher than an equivalent guided tour.

Because each operator sets its own price on GetYourGuide and it can change at any time (season, demand, one-off deals). A fixed figure here would go out of date almost immediately.
Does the price include all the equipment?
