Longer tours usually offer more time on the water and, depending on the operator, a longer route or extra stops (for example, to swim or take photos). The safety format — briefing, life jacket, a skipper guiding the group — doesn't change compared to a short tour: what changes is the total time and, usually, the price.

Are there 2-hour tours in Tenerife?
Yes. The Jet hub tour, which we verified by hand on GetYourGuide (18 October 2026), lets you choose 1 or 2 hours; the 2-hour option includes a swim stop and departs from Las Galletas. The other tours we have verified last between 20 minutes and 1 hour. Always check the exact duration in the listing before booking.
Is a 2-hour tour better than a 1-hour one?
Not necessarily better, just different: more time on the water and, depending on the operator, a longer route or extra stops. If it's your first time, a shorter tour may be enough.
