How we select tours

We look for real variety: different areas of southern Tenerife, different operators and different tour formats. We don't promote a single operator or rank tours by commission — the full listing, with real-time price and availability, is always what you see directly on GetYourGuide.

How we verify data

Before linking to a tour, we check its real listing on GetYourGuide: departure area, duration, requirements and ratings from other travellers. This data can change at any time because the operator manages it, not us — that's why we always point to GetYourGuide for the current figure at the time of booking.

What "to be confirmed" means

When a fact (exact price, duration, minimum age) isn't stably confirmed at the time we write a page, we explicitly mark it "to be confirmed" instead of estimating or inventing it. We'd rather be honest about what we don't know than fill the gap with a plausible-sounding number.

What we don't do

• We don't invent operators, prices, ratings or availability.
• We don't state legal requirements (age, boating licence) without having reasonably verified them.
• We don't use competitors' text or photography.
• We don't show artificial urgency ("only 2 spots left!") unless it's confirmed by the operator itself.

Photography

Until we have our own photography for each tour, we use freely licensed stock photography, visibly credited on every page it appears on.
